DAY ONE - NAIROBI to AMBOSELI
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Springboard Vacations representative. Drive southeast to Amboseli National Park. Time permitting, take an afternoon game safari.
You’ll stay 2 nights at Ol Tukai Lodge. This is one of the best spots in the world to observe elephants in their natural habitat.
DAY TWO - GAME DRIVE
Spend today with morning and afternoon game drives in this park. Large concentrations of wildlife occur in Amboseli, famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty. The landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain proudly standing at 19,344ft, known as the “Roof of Africa”.
DAY THREE – AMBOSELI TO SWEETWATERS
After breakfast transfer to Amboseli Airstrip, fly to Nanyuki and transfer to Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Your stay here is in luxury tents adjacent to a waterhole, which provides for a constant procession of animals. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park.
DAY FOUR - MT KENYA TO LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, this morning we drive via Thompsons Falls down the floor of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species such as the black and the white rhino, Rothschild giraffe as well as the leopard and lion. Afternoon game drive until sunset.
Tonight you’ll stay at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru.
DAY FIVE - LAKE NAKURU TO MAASAI MARA
After early breakfast, morning drive across the Rift Valley escarpment to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your accommodation. Afternoon game drive until sunset. You’ll stay 2 nights here at Keekorok Lodge.
DAY SIX - GAME DRIVE
Spend a further day in the Mara during which you will have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. Maasai Mara is "The" park of parks in Kenya. During your morning and afternoon game drives, you will see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle.
DAY SEVEN - MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
After breakfast, check out and drive to Nairobi where upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your out bound flight.
