DAY ONE - WELCOME TO NAIROBI!
You’ll be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel. You’ll stay overnight at the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel - Nairobi's finest and best-known luxury hotel.
DAY TWO - NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI
This morning you will be picked up by your driver / guide for the drive southeast to Amboseli National Park. Time permitting, take an afternoon game safari.
In Amboseli you’ll stay at the new Tawi Lodge, all meals included. Your private cottage is ideally located facing Kilimanjaro, has its own wooden-deck veranda and a fabulous view of the highest mountain in Africa (even from the comfort of your bed or your bathtub.) A butler service is provided for maximum privacy and comfort.
DAY THREE - GAME DRIVE
Spend today with morning and afternoon game drives in this park. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog among others. There are also over 400 species of birds and the landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro.
DAY FOUR – AMBOSELI to NANYUKI
This morning you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Mount Kenya. Here you’ll stay at the famous Mount Kenya Safari Club for 2 nights, all meals included.
DAY FIVE - GAME DRIVE
Spend a full day in Mt Kenya. After breakfast, you will proceed for a full day game drive at the Sweetwaters sanctuary. The reserve boasts a plethora of wildlife - over 400 species of birds, lion, elephant, rhino and cheetah among others. In the Reserve is a 200-acre chimpanzee sanctuary which was set up for rehabilitation especially of orphaned and abused chimps.
DAY SIX - MT KENYA TO SAMBURU
After breakfast, drive north to Samburu Game Reserve. Here you’ll stay 2 nights at Larsens Camp, again with all meals included. The camp is bordered by the Uaso Nyiro River on one side and pristine nature on the other three. Your tent is discreetly situated along the west bank of the Uaso Nyiro River, bathed with light at sunrise and is designed in chic safari style.
DAY SEVEN - GAME DRIVE
This morning you’ll set out for a game drive through Samburu. The Reserve is home to large herds of elephants and elusive leopards. It is also well known for providing the opportunity to see wildlife that only lives in the dry north of Kenya.
DAY EIGHT - SAMBURU to MAASAI MARA
This morning you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Maasai Mara.
You’ll stay two nights in a luxury tent at Tipilikwani Camp, overlooking the vastness of the Maasai Mara plains from the banks of River Talek. This is an exclusive, intimate yet vibrant Camp that exudes warm and rich colors of Africa . Dining at Tipilikwani Camp is a culinary experience and personalized service and traditional African hospitality compliment its beautiful location.
DAY NINE - GAME DRIVE
This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern annex to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. During your morning and afternoon game drives, you will see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle.
Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey.
DAY TEN – MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Maasai Mara Airstrip for yoru flight back to Nairobi.
