DAY ONE - Fly Air New Zealand from Los Angeles to Adelaide via Auckland.
Welcome to Adelaide!
South Australia's capital city is renowned for its compact size and accessibility. Stylish and vibrant, Adelaide is close to the outback, Australia’s most famous vineyards and amazing Kangaroo Island. You'll have crossed the International Dateline, so you've jumped a day ahead.
DAY THREE - Transfer from the airport to your hotel. You’ll stay 4 nights in 3.5 star hotel in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance to the Hindley Street, North Terrace and Rundle Mall. Spend the day at leisure... check out Adelaide!
DAY FOUR - TOUR KANGAROO ISLAND
Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach trip to Cape Jervis to connect with a 45 minute ferry crossing to Kangaroo Island. On arrival onto Kangaroo Island enjoy the scenic drive to the Seal Bay Conservation Park. Here you can walk on the beach among a colony of rare and wild Australian Sea Lions with a National Parks Ranger. Head to Vivonne Bay for a two-course lunch, followed by a spectacular free-flight display of Australian Birds of Prey.
Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. Remarkable Rocks provides great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admiral’s Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks. Return to Penneshaw for the return journey to Adelaide.
DAY FIVE - BAROSSA VALLEY WINE TOUR
The Barossa is Australia’s largest wine-producing region, boasting over 100 vineyards and some of the world’s most renowned reds. Journey through the valley and savor world-class wines at four premium wineries, learn about viticulture and unearth the acoustic secrets of the Whispering Wall. This tour includes morning tea and a delicious two-course lunch overlooking some of Australia's most prestigious vineyards.
DAY SIX – AT LEISURE IN ADELAIDE
DAY SEVEN – Transfer to the airport and fly Air New Zealand nonstop to Auckland, New Zealand
Welcome to Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’. Auckland offers all of the things associated with a sophisticated cosmopolitan city, from beautiful scenery to adrenaline pumping adventure - and first-class food and wine.
On arrival in Auckland you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the city. This boutique style hotel is located in the heart of central Queen Street and surrounded by shops, theatres and restaurants, with Viaduct Harbour, ferry terminals and Vector Arena just a short walk away.
DAY EIGHT – DISCOVER WAIHEKE ISLAND
Discover Waiheke Island. Take a picturesque 40-minute boat trip followed with a 1.5 hour scenic highlights tour of Waiheke’s stunning locations. Cruise to Waiheke through the glorious Hauraki Gulf and on arrival you will be met by an experienced guide who will give you a taste of the views, culture and history that make up the diverse island of Waiheke. On conclusion of the tour, take advantage of the complimentary All Day Bus Pass allowing you to either return to a destination on the tour, or discover the island further on Fullers Waiheke Island scheduled bus services.

DAY NINE – WAITOMO CAVES
This morning, depart Auckland and drive to Waitomo and discover the magic that has been attracting visitors for over 100 years. Visit Waitomo Glowworm Caves where a knowledgeable guide will lead you through the limestone chambers and passages to see stunning features like the Tomo (a deep shaft that falls away to the darkness below), and the famous 'Cathedral'. The highlight of a visit to the Glowworm Cave is a silent boat trip through the glowworm grotto. Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you glide quietly beneath the lights of thousands of glowworms suspended from the cave ceiling. Only the gentle sound of dripping water reminds you that you are deep underground and not beneath a star filled sky.
After your Waitomo Caves tour, continue driving to Rotorua.

Rotorua's striking gardens, cobbled streets and fascinating mix of Maori and English Tudor architecture give the city a significant point of difference. Beyond the urban centre, a backdrop of geothermal steam, volcanic mountains and huge crater lakes remind you that this region rests immediately above the Pacific Ring of Fire.

DAY TEN - MAORI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE AND HANGI FEAST
This evening gain an authentic introduction to Maori culture that will leave you amazed and in awe. Be enthralled by the natural bush setting, see warriors in traditional dress paddle an ancient warrior canoe (waka) down the Wai-o-whiro stream, and don't miss your only opportunity in the Rotorua area to see glow worms in their natural habitat. Marvel at the crystal clear water full of eels and trout, flowing directly from the earth at the sacred Fairy Spring. See your traditionally cooked hangi meal being lifted from the ground.
