WALKING TOUR OF DOWNTOWN MELBOURNE
See Melbourne the way few people ever do: from the perspective of a passionate Melbournian who will take you on a guided walking tour of the heart of the city. Join this indulgent morning walk through Melbourne's beautiful back streets and get orientated in the life of the city that locals love.
TRAMCAR RESTAURANT
Dining in Melbourne can be a fabulous experience, especially aboard the fleet of historical trams that have become The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. These glossy, burgundy restaurants on wheels are the first traveling tramcar restaurants in the world and ensure a delightful innovative approach to dining. DAY TWO -
KANGAROOS, KOALAS AND AUSTRALIAN WILDLFE, IN THE WILD
This morning travel west to Serendip Open Range Sanctuary with a naturalist guide. Get close to kangaroos, koalas and abundant birdlife. Our special Koala Research Project ensures that we often have multiple sightings of these delightful creatures in the wild. A delicious bush lunch is included.
DAY THREE -
GREAT OCEAN ROAD TOUR
Enjoy a full day tour along the world's most scenic coastal route. You will visit famous Bells Beach, spot koalas in the wild, enjoy a guided tour of the Otways rainforest and marvel at the amazing rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park, including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge.
DAY FOUR -
LITTLE PENGUIN PARADE
You'll pick up your rental car and drive to Phillip Island. You'll stay over night on the island and enjoy a premium penguin experience. Limited to a small group of 10, this exclusive tour takes you to a secluded beach to view little penguins waddling ashore to their sand dune burrows. An intimate wildlife experience like no other! Includes full ranger briefing and commentary through headsets and use of high-tech night vision 'nightscopes' to “spy” on penguins in the dark. (No children under 16 years permitted.)
DAY FIVE -
Fly MELBOURNE to CAIRNS (Flights not included)
Cairns is the heart of Tropical North Queensland and is the primary gateway to Northern Australia & the Great Barrier Reef. You'll stay 3 nights here.
DAY SIX -
GREAT BARRIER REEF CRUISE
Today you’ll journey to a reef at the very edge of Australia's Continental Shelf, to an underwater world that is a dazzling kaleidoscope of color and brilliance. Agincourt Reef is a magnificent ribbon reef where you can experience first hand the magic that is the Great Barrier Reef. You can choose to dive, snorkel, or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-sub, just one meter underwater.
DAY SEVEN -
DAINTREE AND CAPE TRIBULATION TOUR
You will be collected from your hotel for the drive north along the scenic route to Mossman and the Daintree River. Relax and enjoy the splendor only the Daintree can offer as you learn of Estuarine Crocodiles, mangrove forests and wildlife, this is nature at its best! Ascend the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage Tropical Rainforest merging with the azure colors of the Coral Sea. At Cape Tribulation Beach there is a little time to swim in the Coral Sea (seasonal) or stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers' platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the 'Rainforest meets the Reef.
DAY EIGHT -
Fly CAIRNS to SYDNEY (Flight not included)
Stylish Sydney…a cosmopolitan international city filled with vibrant life, character and a sense of daring. You'll stay 3 nights in a dowtown hotel easy walking distance to the Opera House and the historic Rock area.
DAY NINE -
ESCORTED CITY BICYCLE TOUR
Our expert guides will give you the information you need to get the most out of your trip to Sydney. We'll take you to see the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour (right next to the yachts themselves), the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, the Royal Botanic Gardens and more.
DAY TEN -
SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE TOUR and SYDNEY HARBOUR CRUISE
See inside the world's most recognizable sails. Experience this miracle of architecture and engineering. A work of art that came into existence against impossible odds - to become one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world. Later in the day take an afternoon coffee cruise on Sydney Harbour.
DAY ELEVEN - DEPARTURE
