Then it is on to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park – enjoy the history, dance, Creation Theatre and Cultural Village. Afterwards, board Skyrail for the journey through world heritage rainforest. Check in at the Kuranda Rail ticket office, for your journey down the scenic Barron Gorge to Freshwater Connection, transfer back to your accommodation.

Enjoy a tour to Kata Tjuta (Olgas), the immense 36 domes, thought to have once been a single rock many times the size of Uluru (Ayers Rock). On arrival at Kata Tjuta, take a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. Learn of the domes’ formation and of the wildlife of the region. Some of the plants you will see here are so rare that they are only found among these rocky domes. Late in the day, board the coach and return to watch the sunset over Uluru. Admire the ever-changing colors of the monolith while the sun sinks below the horizon. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as the dusk deepens into night.

FULL DAY ECOTOUR - KANGAROOS AND KOALAS IN THE WILD
This is a small group ecotour with a naturalist guide. You’ll get quality time to learn about wildlife and enjoy the wide open spaces of Australia. Get close to kangaroos, koalas and abundant birdlife – in the wild!! Our special Koala Research Project ensures that we often have multiple sightings of these delightful creatures in the wild. A delicious bush lunch is included. Spend the morning in the famous grasslands and around the billabongs of our Open-range Sanctuary in the company of hundreds of wild Kangaroos, dozens of Emus and many species of birds. In the afternoon, walk amongst the gum trees in a National Park and see wild Koalas.
