Stroll through bush land and come face to face with koalas in their natural habitat on treetop boardwalks at the Koala Conservation Centre. Cross the bridge to experience Churchill Island and its historic buildings, heritage gardens and working farm with animal nursery. You can also visit the Nobbies Centre, Australia’s newest marine attraction. Explore and discover the secrets of the incredible southern marine environment including seals, sharks and dolphins via interactive displays and cameras that allow you to zoom in and out on these marine creatures.
Tonight you’re taking an exciting interactive ecotourism experience with Victoria’s little penguins! Your ranger takes you on a guided tour of the Penguin Parade Centre and then to the front row (actually sitting on the sand at the Penguin Parade), before spending time in the Penguins Plus area. You’ll be supplied with binoculars, a mat to sit on and a headset for the live commentary from your ranger. (Participants must be 12 years and over.)
