Situated in Garig Gunak Barlu National Park on the Cobourg Peninsula, Arnhem Land, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay is a unique retreat that lies only a scenic 45 minute flight from Darwin. Access to this inspiring landscape is by permit only and you will come to understand why this area has been revered by the area's indigenous Australians for millennia.
Superbly situated in the tropical forest, just a few yards from the sea, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay nestles among the trees in virtually untouched forest, designed to be in complete harmony with the environment. Natural harmony, open to the sea breezes and the sights and sounds of the tropics - day and night - has been achieved through an accommodation design style that is tropical, relaxing and completely elegant.
The Lodge is barely discernable from the air or water, but has commanding views across the bay. The main building is the focus of activity and offers a spacious indoor/outdoor dining area, cocktail bar and guest lounge - surrounded by cool, lush lawn and broad decking which overlooks the lagoon pool and the impressive vista of the sea.
Premium Bay View Habitats boast stunning views over Coral Bay and feature access from inside your habitat onto your own balcony outside where you can relax and watch the magnificent Top End sunrises and sunsets. Featuring two queen size beds for relaxed comfort, spacious sitting area and private, semi-open 'bathroom in a garden'.
The Lodge and its surrounds offer incredible environmental diversity – from the ocean wilds to the shoreline, rivers and estuaries, paperbark swamps, rainforest jungle, Arnhem Land bush and age old rock formations. Other activities include:
- Bird Watching
- Swimming
- Guided Bush Walks
Other Optional activities (additional cost):
- Champagne Sunset Wildlife Safari,
- Trepang Creek Wildlife Safari and Cruise
- Coastal Exploration and Beachcombing
- Historic Victoria Settlement Safari
- Sundowner Cruise
- Star Gazing
