Get active and enjoy the sunshine, natural parklands and beach lifestyle of Perth, one of Australia's most beautiful cities and the capital of Western Australia. The weather is fantastic, the beaches are clean and uncrowded, and the city, situated on the banks of the Swan River, is in a postcard-perfect setting.
DAY ONE
You’ll be met at the airport for your private car transfer to your accommodation, the luxurious, new boutique hotel, The Richardson Hotel & Spa. This beautiful hotel will be your home base for the next 5 days.
DAY TWO
FULL DAY GUIDED SIGHTSEEING OF PERTH AND FREEMANTLE
Your small group city tour begins with Kings Park for extensive city and river views with a panorama to the Darling Scarp. You’ll then get to see one of Perth's best kept secrets, Cottesloe Beach, one of Perth's most popular beaches before heading to Fremantle. Best known for its docks, marinas, and charming heritage sandstone buildings we head to Victoria Quay to visit the Western Australian Maritime Museum. The day concludes with a cruise back to Perth. Our return journey follows Perth’s scenic Indian Ocean coastline via Leighton, Port and Cottesloe Beaches. Arrive back into the city late afternoon.
DAY THREE
DISCOVER ROTTNEST ISLAND
Enjoy a Swan River cruise with commentary before arriving on Rottnest Island. Explore the beauty and tranquility of Rottnest as you relax in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach. This tour includes historical, cultural and natural points of interest. Includes a sumptuous buffet lunch.
DAY FOUR
FULL DAY TOURING OF MARGARET RIVER, IT’S VINEYARDS AND CAVES
Known as one of Australia's finest wine regions, the Margaret River Region is an area also blessed with natural beauty. Providing a diverse range of activities, this tour allows you to experience this high profile Western Australian area in one day.
We journey to Xanadu Winery, one of the early established vineyards of the region for wine tasting and the chance to purchase from their extensive cellar and merchandise collection. Continue to Eagles Heritage Raptor Centre to enjoy a picnic lunch, before witnessing raptors being handled up close and be in awe at their amazing speed during a free flight display. Experience a guided tour of Mammoth Cave, one of over 300 natural underground limestone caves in the district. Traveling south we pass by stunning Boranup Forest, a visual highlight of the region before arriving at Augusta's famous Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, a geographical point of significance marking the dividing point between the Southern and Indian Oceans. Returning to the north of the region we break at a cafe for a light dinner at the Busselton Jetty (own expense). Whilst here marvel at this 1.25 mile construction, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere, return to Perth late in the evening.
DAY FIVE
Time to relax, maybe take in some shopping before your car and driver pick you up for your private transfer to Perth Airport (or train station).
