Kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park; go swimming with dolphins!
Discover New Zealand’s magnificent Abel Tasman National Park and the best sea kayaking territory in New Zealand. The Abel Tasman coast is renowned for clear azure waters, golden-sand beaches fringed by native forest, hidden coves and spectacularly carved granite headlands. The coast is home to many sea birds, including the Little Blue Penguin. New Zealand Fur Seals breed on the islands close to shore
Our exclusive Kayaks & Dolphins package includes 2 days in Nelson – the sunshine capital of New Zealand - before heading out on a 2 day guided kayak trip along the coast. You’ll visit the resident seal colony; discover the pristine bays, islands and beaches; stay overnight at the beachfront Torrent Bay Lodge. Meals on this two day sea kayak adventure are included.
You’ll travel back to Nelson for one night before a coach transfer to Christchurch.
In Christchurch you’re about to have a date with the worlds smallest, rarest and friendliest dolphins, the Hector's dolphin. Travel out to Akaroa Harbour for this unforgettable experience, with up to an hour spent in the water with the dolphins. You’ll be swimming with a maximum group size of 10, which translates into more face time with the dolphins.
If you are new to snorkeling and use of a wetsuit your crew will be on hand to help you out. We provide wetsuit masks and snorkel. You only have to bring you swimming costume and a towel.
