Your exploring begins in Brisbane – capital city of Queensland, the Sunshine State. You’ll stay in a 2 bedroom apartment in the city – with time to explore this friendly city.
On day two, we’ll take you to Australia Zoo, made famous by the Crocodile Hunter Steve and his wife Terri Irwin and children Bindi and Bob. You will have the day to experience the best of Australia Zoo and take in the shows and demonstrations including crocodile feeding and snake handling.
Then it’s north, to the beaches of Palm Cove and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Palm Cove is renowned for its beach, great cafes, fine dining restaurants and bars. You’ll stay in a 2 bedroom beachfront suite at the stunning Angana Resort & Spa.
On your first full day in tropical Queensland you experience the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll enjoy a full day cruise to Low Isles, a 4 acre coral cay surrounded by 55 acres of reef. The corals are very close to the island, which makes snorkeling here, easy, accessible and awesome. Included in your visit to the Reef are morning and afternoon teas, smorgasbord lunch, informative presentation by a marine biologist, and use of all snorkeling equipment.

The next day you’ll travel one of Australia's great scenic highways heading up the coast to the Daintree River and the world’s oldest rainforest. You’ll visit the Daintree Environmental Centre for a refreshing morning tea. Your expert guide will take you on a journey through the rainforest, explaining some of its fascinating secrets and point out the different types of wildlife and plants. You’ll continue onto Cape Tribulation Beach while your driver explains the rich history of the area.
The excitement continues the next day when we take you to Kuranda. You’ll board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for a breathtaking journey on one of the world's most scenic operational rail journeys. On arrival in Kuranda there is free time to explore the "Village in the Rainforest" and it's many attractions. From Kuranda you will depart on Skyrail, the "World's most beautiful Rainforest Experience". Your gondola will carry you over and through the rainforest, down the mountain to the fascinating Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Discover this ancient culture through theatres, stage shows and demonstrations before boarding your coach for the return to your accommodation.
The exploring continues next in Sydney – Australia’s largest city. Sydney has the icons you know, such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, but you will also find interesting people, cultural vibrancy and a positive spirit. You’ll spend 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment close to all the action and excitement.
You’ll take an exciting bicycle tour to take in the essentials of Sydney. This is a fun, super easy ride featuring stunning harbor views as you pedal past Circular Quay, the piers at Walsh Bay, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, and the Royal Botanic Gardens. There’s no better way to get a feel for the city!
Your exploring and your journey ends in Sydney with a private transfer from your apartment to the airport.
